This Privacy Policy explains how Tasha Schuh Inspirations, LLC (“Company”, “us” or “we”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access the materials on this website. The term “Student” refers to a person who is accessing the curriculum offered by Company on this website. This site is not intended to by used by persons under the age of 18. This website operates on the Teachable.com platform. Please note that Teachable has its own privacy policy which may be viewed at www.Teachable.com.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

How we use collected information

We may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To provide the curriculum and personalize user experience
    We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails
    We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your personal information

We may share personal information with third parties who provide services to us (e.g. administrative assistant). We do not otherwise sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Third party websites

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By accessing materials at this site, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our materials. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Legal Disclosures

We may be required to disclose personal information if directed by a court of law or other governmental entity. Without limiting the foregoing, we reserve the right to disclose such information where we have a good faith basis to believe that such action is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, government and law enforcement agencies’ requests
  • prevent, detect, investigate and take measures against criminal activity, fraud and misuse or unauthorized use of our materials and/or to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements or policies

Accessing, Updating, and Deleting Your Personal Information

You can access and update certain personal information about you by visiting your account settings. You can also submit a data privacy request to receive a copy of personal information that we hold about you, free of charge. If you believe that any personal information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will work with you to make corrections deemed necessary. Note that we may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If you’d like us to delete your account or delete personal information it holds about you, you can submit a deletion request. Note that when we delete your account, personal information that you have shared with others (for example, through comments or an intake form) may still be visible. We will also retain certain personal information about you where reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations or for our legitimate business purposes.

Users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws, users in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), UK, and Switzerland have the right, under certain conditions, to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of their personal information; request restriction of processing; object to processing; withdraw consent from processing; and the right to data portability.

This section provides details about rights California consumers may exercise under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other privacy and data protection laws, as applicable.

Under the CCPA, California consumers have the following rights:

  • The right to request to know more about the categories and specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about them and how that information has been used over the past 12 months. They may also request a copy of this information, free of charge
  • The right to request that we delete personal information that we have collected about them, subject to certain exceptions
  • If a business sells personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale. We do not sell personal information that we collect about our users, as provided in the CCPA
  • The right not to be discriminated against if you choose to exercise any of these rights

Under California’s ‘Shine the Light’ law, California residents have the right to request certain information relating to personal information we have shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Note that we only share information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes when you request us to do so or you expressly consent to it.
